Privacy was well-maintained with fencing, and the location was picturesque with views of the canal. The lodge was well-stocked with milk, tea, coffee, and biscuits, and it was easy to find with a short walk into town.

There were some minor issues during our stay, such as a loose tap in the kitchen and a lack of body wash for the hot tub. The power kept cutting off upon arrival, which was frustrating but was partially compensated with a late check-out offer.

We loved the built, in radio where we could connect our phones, as well as the unexpected bonus of having Wi, Fi. the hot tub was ready to use right after we arrived, and the privacy provided by the fencing was excellent. the little touches like milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, a bottle of wine, and a box of biscuits made our stay extra special. the location was perfect, just a short walk along the canal to Llangollen, which felt like a fairy, tale town. Anita and John, the hosts, were easy to contact and made us feel safe and welcome.

We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend this lodge. Cons: Nothing I didn't like, to be fair.
